Right balance for outdoor yoga, travel friendly
Light weight, moderate cushioning. Lovely colour and the grip is good imo. Didn’t do the salt treatment, but use an eco all purpose cleaning spray to cut through any possible film or grease.

Lightweight, Supportive Travel Mat
I’ve been looking for a good travel mat for awhile. I use Manduka mats in my practice, but the Pro versions are too heavy to travel with easily. This new Pro Travel Mat is fabulous! It is lightweight and easily folded while providing a quality non-slip surface and supportive cushioning for my aging knees. I highly recommend it.

The best lightweight mat ever!
Don’t listen to bad reviews! It is the best lightweight mat ever! We have Manuka mats at our the best gym Lifetime Laguna Niguel. And I have got this one to have with me for group classes. It has amazing quality, NON-SLIPERY even without salt. Just get it!

Great for hotels and airports
I’ve had the ProLite for many years and bought this travel mat for working out in hotel gyms. Love the textured surface and the density of the mat, as well as how easily it folds up to fit into a tote or gym bag. It’s not meant for daily use, but was a lifesaver for stretching at the airport during an 8-hour delay.

Good but not as comfy
I have the Manduka pro which I love! I purchased this one for it’s light weight and that’s a great feature for travel and taking from place to place. The pro is heavy. This has good grip on feet and floor. Not quite as much cushion as I would like for kneeling, but not a shock since it’s selling point is its portability.

Am I Missing Something?
I love the deep violet color, the 2.5mm thickness, 71″ length and a cute little froggy…but I’m a bit confused about what “non-slip” means in the product description? My expecation is that my hands and feet won’t slip. I followed the instructions to prepare the mat e.g.,”sprinkle mat surface with sea salt” (I was feeling especially benevolent), and after 24 hrs I “removed salt with damp cloth” (all nice and spanky) as directed. The mat is softer, but there is nothing “non-slip” about it. I’m distracted from my practice by the fact that I can feel my hands slide forward and my feet sliding backward. In addition, it seems clamy, moist or something? My hands and feet slid on the mat before curing it, and they still slide after albeit, but not as badly. Im not a sweaty practitioner, and I’ve used a sticky mat before so… Seller, am I missing something? The mat isn’t cheap and I’d really like to love it. If we can’t figure this out I’ll need to return it for a “non-slip” mat that non-slips.

Amazing travel mat!
This mat is perfect for travel! I’m a pilot who is on the road 15-20 days per month. I wanted a way to do yoga/workout in my hotel room and this mat is perfect! I fold it right up into a square type shape and it sits in my suitcase wonderfully. I did take it to a hot yoga class to test it out – that is definitely not what it’s designed for. For hotel room workouts / yoga on the go – this mat is awesome!

Worth the Price!
I’ve bought way too many mediocre yoga mats, thinking they are all the same – especially ignoring the wonderful reviews of the Manduka brand because they are so much more expensive. I couldn’t imagine why.Well, I got one and now I know from my delighted experience! These are stickier which make me feel so much safer when I do postures, which also empowers my strength. I like it so much, I bought another shortly after so I have one upstairs and one down! Yippee!

I bought a Manduka Pro Travel mat and returned it within a week because there was no grip between the mat and carpet. The manufacturer’s description states that the “Proprietary dot-patterned bottom grips to the floor to stay put on any on any surface”. The video shows the lack of grip on carpet. I followed the breaking-in instructions and salted the mat thoroughly for 24 hours then washed it, as outlined in the ‘breaking-it-in’ care instructions. I did this three times and there was still no grip between the mat and carpet. I bought this mat for travel and many/most hotel rooms are carpeted. I did not feel safe when the mat was slipping, sliding and crumpling on the carpet.
