Farthest Run to Date was with my new pair of CW-X Stabilyx Tights
I have numerous medical issues : vertigo, 3 degenerative disks ( upper/mid/lower back), chronic bronchitis ( nonsmoker) 4th time having lung issues requiring inhaler to simply breath, heat stroke so I have difficulty regulating temps and sweat more than norm, and I utilize chiropractors roughly every few months for back, shoulder, neck, and calf tightness issues. Just started running this year as weather in NEPA has been brutal~ I’ve run 7 times since January 2018 with average pace of 9’16″pace with 41.34 total kilometers this after having bronchitis 4times. Today with the CWX I ran my longest distance of 8.12km ( 5.046miles) with 8’35″/Km and a time of 1:09:43. I also smashed my own records with the faster 1k of 7:13, fastest 1 mile with 12:22 , and hit a personal best of 42:28 in the 5k all while wearing these tights.I’m roughly 5ft9in weighing 188lbs ( Main workout: Crossfit)so I’m well built and muscular. The support in the midsection, back, knees, legs was superb and I was surprised how little moisture was around my stomach and how easy they came off. I stayed dry and comfortable with these for the entire run in 40 temps with high wind. I didn’t feel the wind , nor the cold weather not once on my legs and the fit was perfect for me without riding up at the hems nor bunching up in crouch area.Extremely comfortable to wear, no rubbing (inner thigh) engages the hamstring/calf area nicely while supporting quadriceps, very little muscle soreness, the belly flap stayed put & never fell over and I welcomed the string to keep in place. Lightweight yet breathable, and the joint support offered was amazing. I’m glad to get these at a sensible price much lower than retail price and my shipper was excellent. I’m not your average runner and in fact haven’t ran competitively long-mid distance/cross country since high school over 25 yrs ago. With these I may just reconsider. I’m a momx3 teens who doesn’t get much spare time but I appreciate good quality made material and the coolmax, lycra feature with stabilyx is exactly what I needed in my late 40’s.

Best leggings ever!
These leggings absolutely saved the day for me. After yet another injury to my knees I was looking for some kind of brace but instead found these. They could not have been better. They held at the right places, enabled me to walk more comfortably, and got me through a very painful incident. They have a lot of compression (but that is what you want!) I think they look good and have held up for years! I highly recommend them to anyone with knee injuries! My only wish would be that they had some sort of pocket for my phone

Very nice tight compression throughout the leg
These are the only leggings I work out in. For the gym, for a run, or to play tennis, anything I do with mild to high impact on my legs and knees, I am wearing these. Gives me much needed knee support, shock absorption and stability while active. Very nice tight compression throughout the leg, supporting my joints. High waisted giving good core support. Little mesh pocket at the waist for my chapstick. Strong material smooths out hips and most of the lumps and bumps for a smooth, curvy silhouette. Theyre costly but a worthy investment to protect from the wear and tear of vigorous activity. I have several because I work out often and work up a sweat but cant do laundry everday so its good to have several to keep in rotation while the sweaty ones are waiting to be washed. They can get expensive but often the prices fluctuate on amazon so you can get good deals. Important to pay attention to the laundering tag. DO NOT use fabric softner on these and do not put them in the dryer. My first couple pair were getting little wholes in them that would eventually grow and turn into big rips. I was getting so upset that something so expensive was deteriorating so quickly, then I realized my laundry lady was washing them with fabric softners and machine drying them. Now I run them through the washer myself with lots of soap on either cold or warm water cycles and then just hang to let them air dry, and these last much longer. No wholes, fabric stays strong and in tact. Some of the tights that I have worn for years start to wear out in the inner thigh area close to the groin because of my shape and also when im stretching that area takes the most strain, but I just get them patched back up with additional black lycra fabric and theyre good as new. Many people complain about the sizing but these are compression leggings so they are strong and tight the way they are supposed to be, to hold everything up and together. If you are looking for something loose or super stretchy like yoga pants, these are not for you. These are for strong and serious support, for long term impact and protection, like for people running miles, etc. At first they were hard to put on but after a few washes and wear they get a bit more stretchy and I am so used to putting these on everyday I dont notice the resistance anymore and they feel so great once theyre on. I love how they make me look smaller and smooth out the curves and feel so well supported. The cw-x “stabilyx” are a very worthy investment for anyone truly needing good support in their activewear. These are only bested by their cw-x “endurance generator” tights which are the highest level of supportive tights this brand offers (and my favorite of the 2)

great support

In my case they are not supporting knees as much as I’d like but they support tights and abdomen very well which is also very cool.

It was the first time I wore this on my bike ride and was utterly disappointed to discover a tear and fraying after the ride. This is not my first time purchasing a cw-x compression tights and I bought another one because I know how sturdy good they are (the compression is really awesome, I’m not gonna dispute that)But the quality for this second item I bought is a wee bit disappointing. I expected the same tough quality but appreciate not this time.Sad

The compression is above average….. the length is little long for petite size (5 ft 2 inches )

I own a couple of pairs of cw-x so quality is no surprise. I was disappointed that I didn’t get the one with the silver trimming as shown in the picture (just plain black) but I was too lazy to send it back and change 🙁
