his is a solid hiking shoe—almost too solid! It feels sturdy and built to last, which makes it ideal for cold weather hikes. Because I feel like it’s cut a little big, I’d definitely recommend wearing thick socks. The Gore-Tex lining is a brilliant addition and really helps keep your feet dry in wet or muddy conditions. The tread on the sole is excellent and gives great grip on uneven terrain. Overall, a tough, weather-ready shoe that performs well, but probably better suited for cooler climates than warm-weather hikes.

Great pair of hiking shoes!
I typically wear a size 8.5 and ordered these in a 9 for plenty of room. These fit really well and are super cushy and comfortable. The Mid Top is perfect as it provides good ankle protection without the confinement of a high-top boot. These are also pretty stylish and look good on my feet. They are a very nice quality and feel built to last a long time. I’m very happy with these and would recommend!

Comfy from the start. Having read some reviews I chose to go half a size up, and the fit is very nice, with the potential for some thicker socks if needed. The Continental soles I hadn’t come across before and, although annoying walking on a hard floor before going on a walk because of the squeaking, they felt great while out on a walk, with excellent grip. They aren’t the lightest of boots that I’ve ever bought but are not very heavy so, although I haven’t yet tested them in a long walk, I expect them to be comfortable over distance. They are much more comfortable than some more expensive boots I tried recently meaning that they are not budget pricing but the comfort means they feel worth the price to me. The look is good also, not clumpy and squared off like some. Overall they feel like quality boots that should last for a good number of miles.

I’m an avid hiker and have used these boots on trips in Greece and the UK. So far, they’ve been excellent, offering a perfect fit and great support on long trails. I’m a man with narrow feet and find Adidas women’s are always a better fit than the men’s, this isn’t my first time getting a pair of women’s shoes! They were comfortable right out of the box with no real break-in period – which is what I would always hope from modern hiking boots.The design is very neutral but looks nice in the black as far as hiking boot are concerned. They’re a mid-weight pair in my mind (I know they are billed as lightweight, but I don’t really think this is accurate). They’re definitely not like some of the super lightweight pairs that have become more fashionable in recent years (which often suffer from lack of durability in my experience). While I’ve only had these for about a month, I feel optimistic that they should last really well based on the build quality. The sole offers excellent grip on a range of surfaces, providing me with a high degree of confidence when walking through woods, moors, granite and sandstone. I’ve even done a few bits of scrambling in them and found them to work very well for that too. The sole is somewhat flexible which works well as an all-rounder. Definitely not a super-stiff approach shoe (which generally aren’t appropriate for UK terrain) or a soft trail runner (which don’t work so well for longer hikes where extra support is needed).The Gore-Tex waterproofing has been perfect so far, never allowing my feet to get wet, even during one particularly soaking hike. However, they still offer excellent breathability when out in the heat (and combined with high quality socks).Overall I’m really delighted that I’ve got these and expect to have them for many many years to come.
