Functional • Comfortable • Cute • Keeps Your Feet Dry
Great fit (true-to-size), decent arch support, is lightweight and yet provides enough cushion to keep my soles happy whilst being on my feet for an 8-hour shift.I was looking for a functional, all-black shoe with a cute design, and I found one here!I also purchased the non-waterproof version of this shoe and love it just as much. I wear these waterproof ones when I know for certain that I will be working with water at work that day.I’ve seen the reviews about this shoe being too stiff, and I do NOT agree that stiffness is an issue. Unlike the non-waterproof version of this shoe model, there is a subtle shield that makes these shoes slightly stiffer — but it is a nominal difference. I switch back and forth between this model and the non-waterproof version, and often get them mixed up when I’m putting them on. I DO notice a huge difference, however, in this shoe’s ability to shield water from my feet as opposed to the non-waterproof version.

Best Shoe EVER!This is my second pair. I work in a fast paced dining hall in the dish room. I leave every night soaked to the skin but my feet are dry! They are comfortable and I don’t have as much knee and hip pain.I just wish they came in different colors

Amazing versatile shoe
My brooks are an amazing work shoe inside and outside. Im on my feet for atleast 8 hours a day in alot of different environments including carpet, tile, cement, ice, wet/soapy floors, mud, and rocks and my brooks have traction through it all. Very light and comfortable. Over all a very versatile shoe that fits alot of my needs.

Would purchase again for East Coast summer camp – waterproof and comfortable
Fits a wide foot comfortably: YESWaterproof: YESKept feet dry in rainstorm: YES (unless water levels were high enough spill into the shoe from above the ankle)Good for low profile hiking: YESGood for summer camp: YESSturdy: Yes with caveat – lasted for the 5 weeks of summer, camp, however sole of the shoe at the front toe box started peeling off after only 3 months of wear. Gave 4 stars instead of 5 for this reason.Would purchase again for East Coast summer camp as it is difficult to find a waterproof sneaker that is comfortable for wide feet and keep you dry in multiple rain storms. A kid with wet soggy socks has cold feet and is never a happy kid. A kid with dry feet is a happy camper!

Waterproof performed and ultra comfortable!
Runs small had to get a size 11 when I always wear size 10. I first got a 10.5 in this shoe and my toes were just touching the end. Wore these on a vacation with lots of walking and hiking, also in the rain. Only wanted to bring one pair of shoes and I these were it! So comfortable never had to break them in. They absorb shock, and feel very cushioned and supportive while walking on concrete.

Size up.
I wear Brooks every day. I ordered the Gortex because they are waterproof and I work at a pool. They are great. Size up! A size 7 fits me perfectly. In the Gortex they are a little snug.

comfortable but seems like toebox is smaller than previous ones
I’ve had these sneakers before and really liked them but this particular pair felt small through the toebox and looked more narrow than my prior pair; they were both the same size and width – not sure what changed.If they do happen to fit you, these are very comfortable for walking and running with the bonus of being waterproof. I got a lot of comfortable use from my previous pair – no need to be broken in!
