Durable, Good Looking, Great for Fitness but Sizing is Difficult
The prio is an excellent shoe, but my feet are a strange size! They are great looking and comfortable. I need a quarter size, unfortunately. I’m keeping the larger size and wearing thicker socks! They are great for fitness and I’m hoping they help reduce my shin pain. My husband swears by the men’s Prio and has 2 pairs! Xero shoes last for years, and are durable even if worn a lot.

Love Xero shoes!
My favorite shoes! I have a bunion on one of my feet and always get painful feet with normal sneakers or shoes. I now own two pairs of Xero shoes and will be buying more. The best wide toe box and zero drop shoes. I go on long walks with these and they are my go to for basically anything that doesn’t require me to fully dress up or go out on an evening. Great travel shoes too! Style is perfect in my opinion and very breathable.

Comfortable. Half size down
Just so everybody knows, around 2018 the company adjusted their sizing. I recommend going a half size down from your usual size. The company says they are now true to size, but I find it is still just a tad large. I am a 7.5 normally but I got a 7 – at first they were snug and it seemed like they would be too small since my toes reached the edge of the shoe. But after walking around the house in them a whole day they fit perfectly. They were comfortable right away. I don’t think they need any breaking in after a day of light use.I am used to barefoot shoes and cannot do the floppy beavertail clown shoes look and feel. Been there done that when first starting out. I need to depend on accurate footwork and wanted a barefoot shoe for parkour. I believe this is it. Also just wanted to say how comfortable these are. Plenty of ground feel and wide toe splay for days, but just enough cushion that you can do sports, hike, or walk in them all day on pavement.Update: I’ve been wearing these for a year and they’re still in good shape. My go to shoe.

Not Perfect
Maybe I should have ordered another size up, but out of the box these weren’t as roomy as I expected them to be. Toe box isn’t that spacious (or wearing barefoot shoes for a bit has caused an unusually large toe-spread). I’m a week in, and they’ve loosened up a bit and are more tolerable / comfortable. The laces are constantly coming undone, and honestly they feel better with super loose laces so I might replace those with something different.Not worth the price, but I’d worn them around too much to return with the try before you buy option.

Some heat protection in the soles would be helpful
These shoes are light, airy, and definitely give you the feeling of being barefoot! They wash up beautifully just tossed in a washing machine, even the white pair! They dry in minutes if placed in the sunshine! Just know this: if you are on hot pavement you will know it after a few minutes. It would be great if they could work in some heat protection in the soles. Obviously you will feel the uneven ground, like rocks and pebbles and that might be uncomfortable if your feet aren’t used to it. They are really great for travel as your feet can breath and you can wiggle your toes like slippers! If you like going barefoot ‘sans’ the dirt and germs, then these are for you! I really like them but again a little heat protection would be a real upgrade…

Das sind die bequemsten Schuhe die ich besitze. Ich trage jetzt seit ca einem 3/4 Barfußschuhe und habe auch schon einige namenhafte Marken ausprobiert. Das sind meine ersten Schuhe von Xero und ich bin begeistert. Tolle Qualität und sehr bequem. Die Einlegesohle ist super bequem (kann man natürlich rausnehmen wenn man möchte). Ich habe auch das Gefühl die Schuhe sind sehr flexibel, also egal ob auf Straße, im Wald, beim Sport sie sind top 👍 auf jeden Fall auch bestens für Barfußschuhe Anfänger geeignet.

Love, love, love these trainers. I initially purchased a pair for gym use but they were so comfortable and durable I got a second pair for hiking. For ‘barefoot’ shoes they are great quality for the price and surprisingly tough. I’ve worn them on different terrains (rocks, paved roads, gravel, sand) and they haven’t failed me yet (I checked for splits and cracks after a 20km hike but there were none). I have tried several other brands of barefoot shoes but these are by far the best for price, comfort and endurance. These particular ones are not waterproof and won’t be suitable for use in the winter. I’ll definitely be purchasing more from Xero.

È stato il primo tentativo con le barefoot, ma le ho restituite.La scarpa in sé è comoda ma calza piccola serve ordinare un numero più grande.Ho deciso di restituirle piuttosto che ordinare il numero giusto per 2 motivi :1- la punta non è poi così ampia come mi aspettavo, anche se, ovviamente, è più ampia di una scarpa ordinaria.2- troppa stoffa sul dorso del piede!Il materiale è si molto flessibile ma spesso, per questo motivo il piede risulta un po’ “pagnotta “.Sulla comodità alzo le mani.
