Great for encouraging circulation in my legs and feet!
This leg exerciser from Fryline is not going to build large muscles nor is it going to work you so hard you start pouring sweat because that’s not it’s intent. Marketed primarily to seniors, it’s meant to be a very low impact leg exerciser promoting healthy circulation in the legs and feet. This is great for diabetics, those of us with arthritis, as well as those folks who are just fairly sedentary.I placed it on the floor under my music keyboard and use it for 15-30 minutes everytime I sit down to play it. There are a number of built-in pre-programmed routines to choose from and it’s easy to modify a routine in whatever way you want. A remote control is included making it possible to operate the exerciser from a seated position. There is also a slot in the end of the unit for storage of the remote when not in use. Two AAA batteries (not included) are needed to operate the remote.Assembly only required attaching the left and right foot pads which as one of the attached pictures show were stamped with an L for left and an R for right in the center of the pad. A pair of foot straps were also included but I haven’t felt the need to use them. The internal drive motor is extremely quiet during operation and causes no disturbance at all. Lastly, a ‘no skid’ pad was included to set the unit on and it works great on a hard surface floor. Overall, this exerciser performs well at it’s intended purpose and I anticipate it will provide a long service life.

    Best value
Quick delivery, very light, definitely lighter than manual models. They give you all the tools needed for installation, which is a huge plus

Plug is in the front of the machine. Could be problematic if not under a desk.
This leg exerciser works while plugged in or not but nothing in the write up relates that information. Obviously you get more features if it’s plugged in. The cord plugs into the front of the machine which makes sense if you are using this under a desk but if you are using it sitting on a chair anywhere else the cord runs out into the room. The exerciser cord is approximately 70″ long so unless you are near an outlet you will need an extension cord. There are included foot straps but no information on how to use them. I didn’t need them at all when I was testing out the exerciser. Be sure to allow for under desk height since the machine takes up some room and you will need room for your legs to rotate also. This arrives mostly assembled except for the pedals. You need to attach the pedals but there are no instructions to do it. There is an L and an R on the pedals so I figured out which side but no instructions to be sure you attach the pedals in the correct direction. So…I figured that out but attaching the pedals with the screws was a little tricky because the screw holes were just the slightest bit off and the screws didn’t want to align correctly in the holes. There is a remote which is nice so you don’t have to bend over to access the controls. Would have been a nice touch to include the two batteries.I will need to play with this exerciser a little to learn all the functions. I placed this on a throw rug to protect my LVP flooring. While using the machine unplugged, the rug tended to slide a little. There are numerous levels and speeds and the machine goes forward and backwards to get a total workout. This machine is nice to get movement but I don’t know if it gives you a true workout. It seemed very quiet.

Pretty Decent Elliptical Machine For A Beginner or Senior, Sure
I was super excited to receive this and I’m using it as I type this review. I had definitely heard of the treadmills that sit under a desk, but not of an elliptical machine! Overall, it’s pretty cool and useful, but there are some things worth mentioning since I gave it three stars.Does it work like an actual elliptical machine? Yes, sans the arm handles and the related movement, it’s targeting just the legs. It arrives almost ready to go, you do have to screw the foot pedals into place. The unfortunate thing is that the instruction manual does not mention this whatsoever. You just see a bag of four screws, a mini screwdriver, and you have to figure it out. I pushed each pedal into its highest position and realized I can flip the traction part upside down, which is how you have to install it. Again, the instruction say nothing about this. As far as using the machine, I just plugged it in, flipped the switch and turned it on. This reminds me… a remote is included but without the required AAA batteries. The speed and resistance… it’s there… the resistance overall from its “lowest” setting to its “highest” setting is bearable. Nothing hard about it to me, I’m going on ten minutes of use now and I do feel a little burn going on. I don’t really notice much of a difference though. As you can see in the video, it has the ability to power the movement, but you can also put some extra force into the movement to have more control. It’s a pretty decent product… is it worth the value? Eh, judging by how much other options are and the fact that it does function… I guess, but I’m not interested to see how the resistance and speed of a more expensive one would stack up against this. Oh, I should mention the noise… it’s not whisper quiet, but it’s also not loud. A noise is really only heard when I’m powering it, if my feet aren’t on it then the machine is quieter but still makes noise.I would implore others to weigh out some of the related options… this may only scratch the itch for a beginner as opposed to someone looking for a serious workout while sitting down.

    Pretty Nifty
This is such a nice little machine. Works great and can be used in a variety of ways. I like its compact size and that there is not any assembly required. Fairly quiet, too. Good way to keep moving even when sitting, I could definitely picture this being great for elderly people. Definitely would recommend.
