Good Pants that Keep Me Cool and Dry in Warm Weather!
Now that it’s finally getting warm here in Wisconsin, I’ve been spending a lot more time outside walking, playing basketball, and playing with my kids. I’ve always liked Under Armour’s products and decided to treat myself to some new workout clothes this year for spring and summer when I came upon these HeatGear Capri pants. For anyone who is new to UA products, HeatGear is the clothing line meant to keep you cool in warmer weather whereas the ColdGear line is meant to keep you warm in cooler weather. I currently own a pair of ColdGear compression pants in a large and figured a large in these would work well for me.For reference, I am 5’6″, 155 pounds, and a large fits pretty well for me. I typically purchase medium or large for pants depending on the style and fit.This line of capri pants are the compression fit so they are like a second skin. I don’t mind that so much but I have had some issues with the waist sliding down so I find myself pulling them up quite often. It’s hard to say if it’s the pants themselves or my body shape since I’m still working on toning my tummy. I discovered that it helps to pull them up a bit starting in the leg so they sit a bit higher on my stomach. It may make me feel a bit like Steve Urkel but no one will know that except me because my workout shirts hide that part. 😉 These pants are pretty good at keeping me cool when it’s warm out and I’m sweating a lot from playing basketball. Of course, I still sweat a bit in the leg area but they actually work a lot better than my other workout capri pants because these UA pants don’t get super sweaty and gross. That may change when I’m wearing them when it’s in the 90s and humid but I’ve worn them in 70 and 80 degree weather and have really liked them so far.I ordered the Carbon Heather/Metallic Silver and I love the color. I usually purchase black pants but these were cheaper at the time and it’s nice to add a bit of variety to my workout wardrobe. I’ve included a picture of my pants paired with a pink shirt so you can see what the color looks like. The inseam measures 18 inches and for me, the bottoms of these pants go past my knees, even when I hike them up a bit so they don’t slip down as much. I really like the length since I’m a bit self-conscious about my legs. These also wash up really well. I wash them with my dark colors and hang dry them so they last longer. They are made in Mexico of 80% polyester and 20% elastane. Because of the material, these pants hardly have any friction when you are running or walking so your legs just glide past each other, which is really nice.Overall, I’m very happy with my pants even though the waistline slides down a bit at times. Adjusting them seems to work for me and I will definitely order another pair in the future. I recommend these pants if you don’t like feeling super sweaty when working out in warm weather, just know that they are meant to be a snug fit.

Itchy seams…
I really like the fabric these are made out of; it’s light and tight fitting without making me feel sweaty and it’s not see thru at all!!! I would love these pants if not for all the seams near the calves; they’re really scratchy and itchy. For whatever reason, I can’t stand the feeling of the thread against my skin (almost feels like it’s made of plastic or something), so i rarely wear these now.FYI, the waist band is just a 1′ band of elastic but it can be pulled up high (I would actually prefer a way wider waistband with a pocket for a key or iPod, but whatever). Also, these are COMPRESSION pants so if you don’t want them that tight then order up a size.

Fit perfectly
I’ve purchased a number of this type of “exercise pants” recently of various brands. This brand was the best fitting so far, they seemed true to fit, well made and have not immediately lost their elasticity as some of my others have. I bought these and a different color pair and I will definitely purchase more of these.

Runs very small.
I love under armour workout apparel. In fact, that is the majority of my exercise attire. Since I have so much I have found that for the most part everything is true to size and I consistently wear a size medium. However, I was sadly disappointed about these pants. I have the same ones in black (3 different pairs) and all are a size medium so that is what I ordered in these. However, they run extremely small. In fact they are comparable to an extra small. Unfortunately, I have not been able to wear these. I would suggest ordering a size or two larger.

ce corsaire est super confortable et simplement parfait pour toute activité. Bon niveau de soutien et compression, sans être trop serré, car materiel souple et ceinture très haute et agréable. J’en ai 3 paires! 🙂

Habe mich für diese Hose entschieden, da sie sehr gut sitzt. Trage normalerweise Größe 40 und habe die Hose in “M” bestellt. Sie komprimiert gut, schnürt an den Waden nicht ein und rutscht nicht hoch in die Kniebeuge, was mir bei anderen Hosen passiert ist. Was mir persönlich aber am besten gefällt (ich trage sie in Fitness-Stunden): Sie ist in der Taille höher geschnitten, so dass sie den Hintern komplett abdeckt und bei Übungen mit Beugen da bleibt, wo sie hingehört. Ich hatte schon Hosen, die kürzer geschnitten waren und bei bestimmten Übungen bei mir hinten runterrutschten, so dass ich ständig am Hochziehen bin. Bei dieser Hose passiert mir das nicht. Sie sitzt wie eine zweite Haut. Dies ist aber sicher ein individuelles Empfinden. Für mich ist dies eine tolle Hose zu einem günstigen Preis. Habe sie im Angebot für knapp 19,00 Euro gekauft. Langzeiterfahrung bezüglich Ausleihern und Materialbeschaffenheit nach vielen Wäschen habe ich noch nicht.
