Shoe is great, size matters!
I say size matters because the prices changed so drastically depending on what size you need.I have been struggling with increasing shoe size, and bad knees and back. I have been trying to find a solid fit through dozens of pairs of shoes in the last few months. These hit itI’ve been an 11 women for a long time, but all of a sudden my 9 1/2 men/11 women shoes started causing me a lot of knee pain.THESE APPEAR VERY TRUE TO SIZE! NOT TOO WIDE, NOT TOO NARROW AND AN 11.5 WAS PERFECT. I ordered the same sizes in other brands and they did not fit. I also ordered an 11 wide in this same brand and it did not fit.So apparently I’m an 11.5 and I’m finding that with other shoes as wellThese have a lot of support so if you’re used to wearing flat Cuddy shoes these may mess with you a bit. I had to work my way into them. And now when I try to go flat footed or barefooted, my back is affected.So these shoes require long-term relationship to have good comfort! When I’m wearing them I feel great. For my weight and height, they seem pretty solid as well… I’ve always been frustrated by how a sized six in women’s is built with the exact same durability as a size 11 as if size 11 people are not likely more tall or heavy or both! That beats up a shoe pretty quickly!So they have it. I have a sibling trying to talk me into Hoka, For the price point at the time, I gave these a try and I’m very happy. The other mentioned brand will give you the same trouble with going barefoot versus wearing the shoe because the support is so great. The sibling and I agree on that

Wide fits comfortably
I was pleasantly surprised to find Wide size in my favorite brand of shoes. I usually have to order half a size larger if the shoes aren’t available in wide. I was glad to be able to choose my true-to-size fit in wide. These are so comfortable and felt worn-in immediately. My only complaint (and thus, the 1 star off) are the eyelets. They aren’t rounded holes, but rather, small slits that make it very difficult to replace the shoelaces. I prefer my sneakers to be slip-on and slip-off, so I purchase special shoelaces for all my new shoes. It was super frustrating to take the old laces off, and really tested my patience (and my poor strained fingers, as I have a joint inflammatory process that’s similar to rheumatoid arthirist) to re-lace the shoes. It took at least twice the amount of time to lace with the no-tie laces.

True to size!
Amazing! I have flat feet and this has just enough arch support to be so comfortable when running!!! There is, I would say, medium cushion and is a lightweight shoe. The heel lock is also very nice. My heel doesn’t move during my runs.

Comfortable and agile
This is my second Saucony pair, very comfortable and a bit flexible . It took me a couple days to decide if I want to keep as the cushion is not as thick as my previous pair. However, after wearing inside for 2 days, I feel the cushion is at the right level. Glad I keep them. Thanks.

Disappointed long-time Saucony fan
I have been running in Saucony ride shoes for decades and have never been disappointed until now. I had to retire my well-worn Ride 15’s due to shredded sole, so it seemed a good time to upgrade to a newer model. I ordered both the ride 16 and the 17. The 17 was unbelievably stiff and unwieldy and was hard to even put on, though the size was correct with ample room for my narrow feet. It was not comfortable and I returned it. The 16 is lightweight, but is quite stiff as well with minimal flexibility. The changes I particularly dislike are the laces and the little slots that you have to thread them through. The end of the lace is round, but the slot is narrow and rectangular, making it nearly impossible to thread them through.Aside from that, the shoe is reasonably comfortable, though it feels uncushioned when I am running.Although I kept these, I will be seeking another shoe for running. I think they are probably ok for just daily wear or walking. I really wish that Saucony had not “ improved” this shoe!

I got these back in Jan, wore them and found right foot tight, thought nothing of it, kept trying to “break them in” but right felt so much tighter, only to realise I’ve got 2 different sized shoes (measured them) but they have the same tags. Please try them properly before commiting
