    LOVE this shoe.
Size up for trail shoes. I am usually a 9.5 in everyday shoes but size up a 1/2 sz to a size 10 for my trail runners – and I haven’t been disappointed yet. These are a decent trail runner. I am adjusting to the responsiveness of this specific shoe but would describe them as comfortable and breathable. Good traction, I haven’t rolled my ankle in them yet – so that’s always a plus. And, they’re pretty cool looking. I really like the yellow. The heel tongue is high and does ride into your ankle a little bit but it’s flexible and fixable with tape so it doesn’t rub.Would recommend this shoe.

    I found my unicorn!
I have a narrow long foot 11A. Its hard to find a quality shoe with a good fit. Much less for less than $100. These fit great! They are nice looking. They are very comfortable and I will definitely be buying them again.I bought the yellow. They are great for trail running or just every day use. If I could, I’d buy them in every color. 5 out of 5 arch support. 5 out of 5 slip resistance. 5 out of 5 overall comfort. 5 out of 5 quality

    Overall good, not water resistant
Have taken these out running a few times in different weather and terrain. They’re best on packed dirt paths and great on rocky inclines and slopes. They lose a star for softer ground, and if it’s even remotely mushy or wet, these have trouble. That said, they dry pretty fast and have kept me upright in situations where my regular trainers would have definitely had me on the ground. Comfortable and true to size. Bit on the narrow side, but I have narrow feet. Tried 2 other kinds before this one and both heels slipped. These have stayed put so far. Just wish the upper was more water proof. Trails get wet, seems like a no-brainer, but I just started trail running regularly so maybe that’s normal for trail trainers. These will stay my go to for dryer days for sure.

    Great for Different Terrain!
I bought this pair after my $150 Brooks came APART at the upper and lower after only 200 miles. These were highly recommended for use in a varied terrain, so I thought they would work for me as I run everything from the path along the railroad (gravel) to our farm road (dirt and grass) to road to sidewalk. I’m just running/walking for the exercise and don’t do miles and miles every day, but I do get in at least 1.5 miles a day. These are very comfortable. They have a wider toe box than my Brooks did and a slightly lower drop. The tread is so much better for my paths that I run–especially the gravel. i now have run more in these than my previous shoes and there is NO coming apart anywhere. They support my foot very well and I also have Mortons Neuroma, so I appreciate them not hurting my foot.I would recommend these for sure to someone who wants a great shoe for a varied environment.

Tons of miles and still in tip top shape. With a little wear..
Still using these shoes years after the purchase. We’ve hiked, ran, rock climbed, trail heads galore and still holding up in one piece. They are a little bit wearing out now but the support was there, durability really good and long lasting. Fit is snug but the value for money is excellent with this purchase .

Great for trail running- excellent traction and response
First of all I have used Saucony (most specifically Peregrines) for years during my trail runs and races in Colorado and in the Alps. I LOVE Saucony brand. The traction is spot on and I have never ever slid and fell, even in mucky or snowy conditions. Yes, the uppers tend to wear thin with major use but for the breathability and the fact that they dry so quickly with any wet conditions is a big pay off for me. Also the fact that they are well below average price range for great trail shoes, I don’t mind if I have to shell out more for another set. What I have gotten used to doing is buying 2-3 pairs and just rotating them on occasion to make them last longer. The rock plate protects my feet from sharp rocks, the heel cup fits snug without excessive rubbing, the laces snug the uppers without too much rub either. I buy an extra half size bigger than my normal shoe to allow for big descents that don’t mash up my toes. The shoes are light and lightly padded at a 4mm drop. All that said, I haven’t yet tried the 13s and am excited as I heard great improvements have been made to the next version.I have had knee surgery recently and found as I got back into running these hurt the balls of my feet a little. I blame my feet not the shoe as I haven’t been on my feet as much as I used to. I ended up buying Saucony’s Xodus Ultra (1 not 2) with a 6mm drop and a bit more cushion and I absolutely LOVE them. So if you are needing more cushion than the peregrines offer look to the xodus.

  7. I MAKE THE AWESOME

Still can’t get the heel right on this shoe
This is my 3rd pair of this shoe. The first pair I bought several years ago was both comfortable and sturdy, yet the heel was too cushioned and the padding started to bunch and wear holes rather quickly as a result of heel rubbing from putting them on and taking them off.The second pair seemed to have fixed that problem and were just as comfortable as the first, though I was also super cautious when taking them on/off based on my experience with the first pair. Though a hole started to wear in the upper part of one of the shoes near my toes. This pair is the opposite of those other pairs. Omg they were so uncomfortable from first wear, and instead of just slightly reducing the heel padding they completely removed and replaced it with a hard heel that caused so many blisters the first few months I wore them. I think they have finally broken in a little and my feet have maybe developed some callouses because they’re better now but holy hell. Not sure I’ll be buying this shoe again.

Arrived earlier than expected and were exactly as expected. Nice and light. I ordered a size 8.5 as this is the size I usually get in Brooks for running (I’m a 7.5 in shoes). They fit ok but maybe should have gone for an 8 as they are wider in the toe area and a bit loose around the ankle. Went out on a boggy and slippy run and felt much more confident in these on uneven ground. Feet got wet but drained well and didn’t feel soggy. Wish I had got a darker colour as they were filthy within minutes of running in them! Had a short run on roads and tarmac and they felt fine but wouldn’t want to go too far as not as much cushioning as a road shoe. Looking forward to testing these properly in a Trail race tomorrow. Overall happy with the quality of this product.
