It’s designed to sit on the hips rather than the natural waist, which makes a huge difference for fit. The phone pouch comfortably fits my Pro Max, which is rare with Renaissance belts and honestly the main reason I kept searching. The faux leather feels substantial and well-finished, and the hardware looks consistent and period-appropriate. The velvet coin purse was an unexpected bonus and adds a nice texture contrast.

Nice Leather Accessories for Ren Faire Outfits
I purchased this set to augment my Renaissance Festival costume, and overall I am happy with the quality for the price I paid.The pouch is generously sized and easily holds a large smartphone. The leather appears to be good quality and has a handmade look, although I suspect it is machine made. Even so, it looks authentic enough for festival use.The coin purse is a standout piece. It is very well made and noticeably better than similar coin purses I have purchased in the past. The belt is not my favorite design, but it is functional and appears to be made from the same quality leather as the rest of the set.The skirt hikes are included, but I will not be using them. Nobody needs to see me hiking up my kilt. That said, they appear to be well made and consistent with the overall quality of the set.For the price and intended use, this is a good set and works well.

Exactly what I needed
I love that thus felt has good storage while not breaking the illusion of my costume. For years I’ve attended the renaissance festival in various costumes, but pretty constant is my style breaking purse or diaper bag. The storage for this belt is perfect to carry a small sample pack of wipes and a subtle diaper if packed right. It’s a perfect style for pirates and wenches alike, and the material feels durable enough to handle the few times a year I wear it for quite some time. It functions exactly as it’s meant to and gives so much utility in one accessory garment. Definitely recommend as long as you don’t have too much to carry.

Nice accessory set but the leather is fake.
As far as looks are concerned, this is much more consistent than the previous set I got, which was clearly just cobbled together from different sources and, thus, would be more appropriate for a “I’m a struggling adventurer” look than that of success. This says: “Look, I’m successful enough that I can afford a matching set!”That said, however, the claim that the set is made of leather is largely, if not entirely, false. Some pieces are obviously fake leather while others reveal themselves due to certain traits. I despise deception in marketing, no matter how subtle, which is why this set only achieved 3 stars.The bag’s clasp is easy to open so, whatever you keep in it, make sure to guard the clasp because it’s an easy target for a pickpocket in a crowded setting.The small pouch is a more challenging feat for a thief, requiring the use of a very sharp object to quickly cut through the thin material or the string holding it shut It’s a very interesting design that I have one of already.The dual loops are actually openable and can be used for multiple purposes, such as hitching up a skirt or dress to relieve the heat, holding a mug handle, or retaining a sword. Unfortunately, I’m not convinced that the metal is strong enough to resist a heavy object pulling it open, so be conscious of that possibility.The belt is long and simple, providing the piece that brings everything together and provides a place to hang them from. I’m glad that it’s as wide as it is!The stitching and fasteners used on these products seem to be of very good quality. Overall, if you don’t mind the price they’re asking for “real” leather, this is a nice set for a costume!

Nicely made Faux leather belt/pouch
I bought this kit for a friend who is really into turning these types of leather belts/bags into steampunk costume accessories.First thing going in – The description says “Faux Leather”, so I was aware that it’s not “real” leather. That would cost significantly more, and this is more the range I was looking for at the time. Knowing that, the quality is as good as can be expected for the price, and it all looks very nice together.The buckles and seams are well done, and it feels like it would hold up on an average cosplay.The belt is about 53″ long, so keep that in mind for sizing. The large pouch is big enough to hold something like a phone, while the smaller pouch couldn’t really be super useful other than as a decoration.Overall, I would recommend for the price. As long as you know what you are buying.
