Fantastic shoes. Super comfortable. I got a Peloton+ bike and tried to just go with normal shoes and pedal adapters, bad idea. You have to get real biking shoes, these made a huge difference!Fit is perfect, and I don’t really care about looks as I only wear them when I’m going to use the bike (they look nice, though).

Worth the extra money over the original/regular Peloton shoes
These are the most comfortable pair of Peloton bike shoes I’ve had. Plus the single diagonal strap makes them easy to put on before every ride. The fit feels secure and perfect. They’re better than the original pair that came with the bike when we first purchased it. My dog ate my original pair of peloton shoes. I’m glad because it gave me the chance to upgrade to this pair, which I love and I highly recommend.

Disappointed with the Durability of Peloton Altos Cycling Shoes
I recently purchased the Peloton Altos Cycling Shoes for use with my Bike and Bike+, attracted by the brand’s reputation and the promise of quality. However, my experience has been far from satisfactory, leading me to not recommend these shoes.The major issue I encountered was with the durability of the shoes. Within just a few days of use, I noticed that the sole began to detach. This was both surprising and disappointing, especially considering the premium price point of these shoes. The detachment of the sole not only made the shoes uncomfortable but also unsafe for continued use in cycling sessions.While the shoes initially seemed well-designed, with a convenient single hook and loop strap and Delta-compatible bike cleats, the rapid deterioration in quality overshadowed these features. It’s unacceptable for a product from a well-known brand like Peloton to have such a fundamental flaw in its construction.In conclusion, based on my experience, I cannot recommend the Peloton Altos Cycling Shoes. The issue with the sole detaching so quickly is a significant concern, and it undermines the overall value and reliability of the product. If you’re looking for durable and long-lasting cycling shoes, you might want to consider other options available in the market.

Work Great, Look Great, A little narrow, but eventually stretch.
I had read that these were narrow, so I bought a full US shoe size up and was glad I did. I typically wear a size 10 or 10.5 and have slightly wider feet, so I bought the size 11 knowing these were narrow. One foot fit nicely, and the other was a little snug through the middle of my foot, leading to some discomfort on my first few rides. I learned to leave that strap a little looser to prevent this from happening. Now that I have a few dozen rides in with these, I no longer need to leave the strap as loose (I’m assuming they’ve molded to my feet).Build quality seems good. Other than the initial fit issues, they are comfortable and seem solid. Exactly what you would want in a cycling shoe.

At first I gave these shoes a one star because the shoe bottom fell apart. However, once it was clear that the shoes were defective, Peloton stood behind their product and gave me compensation. I’m a completely newbie to cycling and Peloton. I had no idea what I was looking for when it came to cycle shoes I just knew I wanted something that was lightweight breathable, comfortable and something that didn’t squish my toes. I purchased the original shoes and the Altos to compare. I went up a size in the Altos (I got the same size I get in running shoes). I’m generally a uk size 4.5 in most shoes with the exception of running/climbing shoes where I’m a 5.5. These are no expectation they fit like a running shoe and come up small. I got a 5.5 which was a perfect fit for me. They allow me to wear thick and thin socks and don’t rub or fall off if I wear thinner socks.The original peloton shoes doesn’t come in half sizes. So these are a better option if you’re between sizes. This shoe, is light weight (especially when compared to the origional peloton shoes, which to me were heavy, clunky, bulky and tight) breathable and comfortable. I was worried about the Velcro strap and how long it would last, I’ve had my shoes for 7 weeks and I’ve worn them every day and have completed rides upto 60 minutes with comfort and the Velcro still fastens as it should.The Altos is much more comfortable than the origional shoe, which I found was really heavy and narrow fitting. These are I would say slightly on the narrow fitting side but not as narrow as the originals.As someone completely new to cycling, I am so happy with how seamless and easy it’s been for me to get on with these shoes. If you’re on the fence, I’d absolutely reccomend these over the origional.Update; 4 months in and the velcro straps are still going strong! 😃

Having reading a few of the reviews, I was very skeptical of buying this shoe.First impressions is that it is a high quality and comfortable shoe and I have not experienced any of the issues of previous buyers.So far so good and I am pleased with my purchase.

Unsure why these are getting mixed reviews but my experience has been positive so far.Yes they are light weight and can feel a little more unsecure then the original shoes however with the right fit and allowing them to bed in you won’t regret the purchase.The shoe is high quality and extremely comfortable with my personal take being is I now need to put less effort into peddling allowing me to push harder for longer to my goals.If your on the fence head to a peloton store and try them out first but I am positive you won’t regret the purchase your feet will thank you.
