The only athletic shoes I buy!
I have owned three pairs of these exact shoes and will probably buy more. These are incredibly comfortable, look cute, and offer plenty of cushioning and support for the balls of my feet. I have very thin natural foot padding, and the balls of my feet hurt if I wear shoes without enough cushioning. These NB shoes offer the perfect amount of padding — not too much where I feel like I’m walking in a bounce house, but enough to where my feet don’t hurt anymore. I walk and play pickleball in them and my feet aren’t sore. These shoes are great!

Like walking on a cloud
Edit: Its been almost a month and a 5k later and I still love these shoes. My BFF too :)Behold the New Balance version of Hokas. These shoes are like walking on a cloud. They are so bouncy and comfortable. As a mom of four who walks at least 3 miles a day and has recently gotten back into running, I have been doing research for a good shoe for months. Hokas and Brooks are the most highly recommended but they are expensive and just not my style. I was having shin splints and after a few runs in these, I haven’t had any of that pain. The backs of these come up higher than the normal shoe and I haven’t had any blisters on my ankles (something my Nikes were doing often even after years of wear). Also, this was huge for me.. the toe box is big and doesn’t like squish your toes together. The price is great for such a nice quality shoe. The bottoms of the shoe have a lot of traction so perfect for a trail runner, wet days, etc. My best friend is also a runner and she got a pair the same day and while I experience shin splints, she has knee pain and she mentioned she hasn’t had any knee pain. It’s been so funny to go back and forth over how cool this shoe is to us. LOL. I could literally go on and on, but if you’re looking for a hoka-like running shoe, these are it. I’ve put about 20 miles on them so far and will for sure be buying another pair in another color. 10/10 recommend

Walking on a cloud!
These have got to be the MOST comfortable shoes I’ve ever owned! On my first walk, the canal in the bottom at the back and the curve at the front threw me off. I will say, careful not to fall in these because of the canal … don’t step wrong and stay on a flat surface. The shoes are curved in such a way that they help propel you forward. If you’re not used to that, it can seem awkward. But by day two, I had the hang of it and haven’t felt any of those issues anymore. Some might not like the height, but that was not an issue for me.Wow do these shoes deliver in terms of comfort!!! I had gotten shin splints from using the wrong shoes and was still kind of in pain at times. I put these shoes on to walk, no pain. I jogged in them today, no pain. I even sprinted, no pain.As you walk, you have a continual feeling of walking on a mattress. It’s wonderful! As if you were stepping on the clouds or your shoes had pillows or marshmallows for the soles. Sounds awkward, but it feels amazing … because you don’t really feel the steps. Despite that, the shoe isn’t clunky and I can definitely get my morning walk/jog done in then. They don’t hold me back. They make it easier for me to want to walk longer because I don’t feel the ache in my feet or shins.The upper knit is not my favorited compared to some other brands. However, that is not a deal breaker for me. Loving the shoe!

Why didn’t I know about these shoes earlier!!!? COMFORT!!!
These shoes! These glorious, hug you better then your husband, shoes! My feet are in love. I have feet that need support. They get sore, ache, make my back hurt. I am miserable in almost every shoe.But these, I would cheat on my other shoes with these everyday and not feel one bit ashamed. I would find a way to make these shoes go with a formal gown. Can you wear them to a cocktail party, of course you can. Will they be OK for that wedding you were invited to? Yes, if you dance all night because you feel so good, no one will care what were on your feet, go for it girlfriend!These shoes. They treat you like a lady. Delicate around the toe area with stretchy fabric. So nice. No digging in on the toes, it has a wide toe bed so your feet can spread out like feet are supposed to. Nothing feels binding or tight. The top where the laces are, lovely and stretchy too. Nothing digging into the top of the foot on that tender skin. So gentle.I deserve these shoes and I am a better person for owning them. They have stopped me from being bitchy to others because I am comfortable and feel delightful. I am not thinking in my head “when will this person stop talking to me so I can sit down because my feet hurt!!” or “no I don’t want a double shift with overtime because my feet are screaming at me”!.These shoes, so elegantly tender to my beaten up feet that need somebody to pay attention to them and love them for who they are.The footbed; if heaven has shoes, these are there. First pair everyone wants. They have a middle support system that absolutely supports those fallen arches, those feet that stand all day on hard floors. Feet that have seen early mornings and late nights. Feet that have walked, climbed and carried. The center support almost feels like a big squishy ball that fills up the center arch and then feels springy under your foot. It is quite wonderful really. Reminds me of childhood days when my unscathed feet ran merrily through golden fields of summer. Unburdened by injury or tired feet, no pain, just joy… these shoes…The Heel; There is more density in the heel portion. There is still squish but it feels like you have cushioning that is supportive but not stiff. The fit of the shoe behind your foot is also forgiving. It doesn’t bite into your ankle or have sharp ankle edges that give you blisters because they rub like a lot of the backs of sports shoes do. The design really thinks a lot about function and comfort in different quadrants of the shoe for your foot to really cushion your foot properly and not bind or pinch. I need that, I am grateful they made these.These shoes. Girl, if you have read this far, you are already looking for you new lover. I bought mine in the light blue. I am buying more!These shoes <3
