Comfortable
I’m really happy with this shoe. It’s comfortable, stylish, and fits perfectly. The material feels durable, and the design looks great. I’ve worn it for long hours, and it still feels supportive without hurting my feet. The sole provides good grip, and the overall quality is worth the price. I would definitely recommend this shoe to anyone looking for comfort, style, and quality.

Very comfortable shoe
I’ll start with the only knock I could find and that is the price. I get the whole “you get what you pay for” trope, but it’s a pricey shoe for running on gravel and rocks lol. That being said, it is pretty much worth it if you had planned on spending this much money on some trail running shoes. They are very comfortable and fit perfectly for my foot size. I wear a 9.5 men’s and they’re great. I don’t have flat feet or high arches, and these are comfortable for hours of wear. I’ve worn them mostly for hiking and a smidge of actual running, but it was all very comfy. The design is nice and they are breathable, which is good. No one wants stank feet, although it’s somewhat of a given if you’re going running. I’ve only had them a few months and they’ve held up great, but I can’t speak to how they do if someone really beat on them, so I’ll leave that info for someone else. I take care of my things, so I clean them after runs/walks/hikes, etc.

Worth it for the comfort, support, quality, and longevity
According to my husband, these shoes are the most comfortable running shoes he’s worn in quite some time. He’s worn KEEN boots for work for years, but this is the first time he has worn any other versions of their shoes. Arch support is excellent without making his feet sore after wearing for several hours. There is enough support to help offset the slight overpronation he has when walking barefoot. Like his KEEN boots, these running shoes are really durable. My husband is NOT easy on his footwear, but these shoes take the abuse with nary a scuff. Being a color that doesn’t readily show dirt is a plus. I wasn’t sure he’d be okay with the grey and black color scheme since his footwear is always in the dark brown/dirty olive green range. While these shoes don’t look like a typical brightly colored, overly designed running shoe, they don’t look like his usual ‘if it isn’t a hiking boot, I’m not wearing it’ style. I’m really kind of blown away he was even willing to try these Roam trail running shoes on in the first place. The face that he’s a big KEEN fan definitely helped. Once the shoes were on his feet and he wore them for a few hours, he was willing to overlook the fact these shoes aren’t his preferred dirt brown color. Yeesh… These are what he wears when he isn’t required to wear his work boots. His old ratty and ragged Crocs finally got sent back to be recycled. Wonders upon wonders, now that he’s wearing shoes with proper support his knees aren’t hurting him as they did in the past when those gnarly Crocs were his go to’s.The only downside he can come up with is these aren’t straight slip-on shoes. They have to be tied and untied – I know, first world problems, right? KEENs aren’t the cheapest shoes out there, but they are very well made and provide his feet with proper support. Since he wears these more for general every day walking about and only occasional trail running, there’s no doubt of getting more than his money’s worth of wear.

Supportive, Comfortable, Fit to Size, and Great Shoes!
I’ve been wearing these KEEN Roam Trail Running Shoes for weeks now and am impressed every time I put them on. The tread on the bottom is very aggressive and bites onto even uneven terrain for superior stability. The comfort and support that I feel in my feet when wearing these is second to none. This is all accomplished while not being a heavy shoe which is outstanding. I find the charcoal gray type and black color to look good even if dirty. The fit on the shoes was perfect. I’m normally a size 12 in most shoes, so I opted for the 12 here and sure enough it fit perfect. While they are a bit more premium at an MSRP of $165, I found the value to be there in a consistent, comfortable, and durable shoe. Well done KEEN!

Absolutely love these shoes, size up for best fit
My husband absolutely LOVES these shoes! I’ll start out by saying he normally wears a size 13 but I decided to size up and get a 14 which fit him perfectly. So they do run a bit small but if you get the right fit for you, you’ll love them! The tread is incredibly grippy and very textured – these are going to be amazing during icy winter days here in the Midwest and I can see them working great on trails. When we’ve gone out you can actually hear the tread on the pavement as he walks. Not in a bad way but in a way that lets you know these are serious, like a great tire tread on pavement. They have amazing structure and give stability. My husband has very large feet and is very sure footed but has never had well made, expensive shoes. These were his first pair and he instantly noticed a huge difference. He says he feels so much more stable in them but they are still great for running. He feels the wedge effect with the heel a bit higher to help push off when running but when walking, they feel sturdy and even braces his foot so there is less possibility for rolling an ankle. The style is awesome – I adore the way these look on him, very rich looking and could totally be worn everyday with nice jeans and a sweater – not just on the trails.I also love what I’ve ready about the company – Keen makes their shoes without forever chemicals, cultivates inclusive communities and uses post consumer materials to reduce waste. My husband adores wearing them and I just love how they look on him. Highly recommended!
