Weighted Jump Rope That Adds Perfect Resistance
This weighted jump rope is excellent for both cardio and strength workouts! The 2.8 lb weight adds a nice resistance, which really helps build arm and shoulder muscles while keeping your heart rate up. The rope spins smoothly, making it easy to get into a rhythm without tangling.I use it for home gym workouts, and it feels sturdy, balanced, and well-made. Overall, it’s perfect for anyone wanting to combine cardio with strength training in one simple exercise.

Great workout
I recently picked up a weighted jump rope, and it’s been an awesome addition to my home gym setup. Weighing in at 2.8 pounds, this heavy-duty rope really adds a new dimension to my workouts. It’s perfect for anyone looking to mix up their routine and focus on building strength and muscle while getting in some cardio. The first time I used it, I was surprised by how much more of a workout I got compared to a regular jump rope. The added weight requires more effort and engages my upper body muscles, which is great for improving overall strength. It took a bit of getting used to, but once I got the hang of it, I could really feel the burn in my shoulders and arms, as well as my legs. What’s great is that it’s versatile enough for both beginners and more seasoned athletes. Whether I’m doing a quick session to warm up or incorporating it into a more intense workout, it’s effective and challenging. Plus, it’s easy to store and doesn’t take up much space, which is perfect for home use. If you’re looking to elevate your fitness game and add a new challenge, this weighted jump rope is definitely worth a try.

Cross-fit heavy jump rope, takes more strength, coordination and practice but does the job
I picked this cross-fit jump rope for strength training as part of my weight loss initiative and because the price on offer was reasonable. It’s a thick, pliable nylon rope with stiff rubberized end caps for handles (Image 3) and a nylon fabric tube (Image 1) that protects the center from fraying as it impacts the ground. The rope is easy to start using but has some hefty weight compared to traditional speed ropes or cable jump ropes so it takes strength and practice to stay in place and jump consistently. The rope itself reminds me of a length of mooring line (tie ships to a dock) but this one is much softer on the hands than dock ropes. I enjoy the strength training and I will get used to the longer duration between jumps from a slower rope (Video 6) so with time it will be a regular part of my workout. I would recommend this for cross-fitters, strength training athletes and people with solid workout regimen.

Too heavy for children.
After we got this jump rope through Vine, we had to end up buying a new one for our son because he dislikes it due to the unnecessary size and weight. It is very difficult working out with this jump rope. It is made from good materials, has great grips and will probably last the rest of his life but he has told us that when he’s not wearing shoes it’ll hit his pinky toe and hurt him. Not very safe for kids.Would probably be great for grown men but not for a 15 year old.

Not for Beginners
Review for Jump Rope, Weighted Jump Rope for Men Women, 2.8lb:I always liked the idea of jump roping even though I am terrible at it. Really gets the heart-rate up and burns a lot of calories quickly. While jumping on concrete years ago, I injured myself and haven’t tried since. But I decided to pick this up again and hopefully get a horse stall mat to jump on this time. This product is awesome right out of the bag. Well-constructed and mine did come with the scuff protector. The handles are extremely well done. But when I tried to jump rope, even a little bit, I realized this takes a lot of pre-exist coordination (and confidence, you have to really swing this) which I don’t have. This is the kind of jump rope you get when you get good at the normal size. Furthermore, I don’t see how one can adjust the length of this rope for height except to put hands farther down on the rope. But that’s the limitations of this type of jump rope.Overall great, but wish I knew you have to be proficient in jump roping to use this.
