We are slowly converting all our black and grey kettlebells in our studio to colored vinyl. This is a great vibrant purple than is gender neutral enough to not be off putting. The vinyl was unflawed and the handles are smooth and even. There are about a medium grip – not the thinnest nor thickest and seem comfortable for the majority of our clients to hold (we have a wide variety of clients, from ages 26 to 79, men and women). You may be able to find more economical functional KBs around, but the price point on these were reasonable and they color brings us a pop of joy!

The coating is a good thing to prevent rust as I use this outside, the handle can be a tiny bit slick on wet days but overall nice piece of equipment.

I have cast iron kettle bells and they work, but this one is by far the best I’ve ever had and quality is great and handle is wide and comfortable as well as its coating is anti slip while working out.

There are several brands that are about the same quality. I have others from another brand, in various colors and weights, about the same (good) quality), and could have gotten this size (35 lb) a bit cheaper. However, since this is the 1 pood weight, I wanted it in black (favorite color) since it will stand out and be used for most exercises, until I’m ready for a 1.5 and/or 2.0 pood weight.On the vinyl coating, the jury is out. I think it may be useful for some people who abuse the weight portion. I don’t like that the vinyl goes part way up the handles, as it gives an uneven grip for certain exercises. I might cut that portion of the vinyl off.
