Easy to get on and off!
Hate to try to get sports bras over your head? Especially if you are sweaty? These are just the ticket! I am a DDD+ so finding a sports bra (especially without an underwire) that is comfortable, functional, and easy to get on/off is a challenge. I like these so much that I use them even when I am not at the gym. They are a tech-y neoprene like material that stays in place but breathes well, and, although it is not thick, avoids “headlights.” Note that the chest band will feel tight initially after each wash, but quickly stretch just a bit.

    Comfort with Slight Fraying
This bra is great, fabric is great … but I’ll tell you the front of it is fraying a bit in the front and I’ve only delicate washed it ( also in a lingerie bag) and air dried it maybe 3 times. There is not stitching keeping the pieces of fabric together or edged on the front of the bra. It’s a bit odd. I like this brand but I hope they modify this bra in later versions.

    Pleasantly Surprised
I was so disappointed my sports bra was discontinued and replaced with this. Wow, I was surprised. Super comfortable and soft. Supports well. The straps are comfy too. The fabric seemed a bit cheap at first, but I really like the feel of it on. I am a 36C and this was true to size.

Shoulder too short to wear bra without alterations.
This is the updated version of the Brooks Dare. The earlier version had shoulder straps that were similar to the ones on everyday bras, except a little wider. However, the straps were slippery and didn’t maintain adjustment. As you wore the bra, the straps go longer and longer. In addition, the straps were stretchy like a regular bra, but too stretchy for a sport bra. I ended up using the 1.0 as an everyday bra and for that purpose, it worked fine. Well, Brooks tried to fix the problem straps from the 1.0 by switching to a hook and loop system and straps with no stretch. This should have been a great solution. However, the straps are WAY. TOO. SHORT. I have mine in the longest setting and the shoulder strap is painfully too short. I took the bra off after 20 minutes, before I even started my workout. I am 5’6″ with a slightly short torso. I have never in my life experienced this problem with a bra. Since I already cut the tags and can’t return the bra, I plan attempt altering by adding replacement bra straps (currently on order). I doubt they will be secure enough for sports use, but maybe the bra can be salvaged as an everyday bra. Other than the strap issue, the bra is basically the same as the 1.0 version except that the rib band is a little wider.Brooks company if you actually read reviews (doubtful, but can’t blame me for trying): please bring back the Fiona bra. It was the gold standard of sports bras and nothing that has come after was even close in quality. The material was less hot than the Dare, the fit was better, and the straps were easily adjusted but also stayed pu.

    Just okay
I miss the old Brooks Juno bra. This one is okay. I feel like the support could be better, I wouldn’t call this appropriate for high impact more like medium. Not the most supportive for running if c cup or higher

    Comfortable and secure
The material is very comfortable and there is very little bounce. Great adjustability. I wish the cup size in the 32 band went up higher — I got the 32E and it is a tad small.

Impossible to remove & feels like a straitjacket
I have been on the hunt for a wireless racerback bra since that’s all I can now wear due to shoulder and rib issues. I bought this along with Brooks Drive Interlace Run Bra and New Balance Women’s NB Power X Bra. The Brooks Drive Interlace Run Bra was by far my favorite. Unlike this bra, it’s comfortable, allows different necklines, cooler, and I can remove it myself.SIZINGI had to size up in the band 1 size bigger than what I normally wear.CONSNot only is this bra hard to put on and hook yourself, it’s impossible to remove. If you’re sweaty it’s even harder. I had to get help to get it off. It also felt so constricting that I don’t think I could handle wearing it longer than 30 minutes. With all the padding it feels pretty hot too. For these reasons I’m returning it.PRO:I gave it 2 stars because it is supportive.

    Great!
I hate those bulky sports bras that feel like you’re wearing chest armor, and this one is great – lightweight and just lightly lined. I bought this in my ABTF size. The band was quite tight at first but loosened after a few wears. Now it fits very well. I initially bought one band size up, but that loosened up way too much. I like the adjustable shoulder straps too. This is comfortable even on my long runs – no bounce!
