Extremely comfortable and supportive
UPDATE: I am now on my fourth pair – that’s how much I love these shoes. They do wear down and you can feel it but I wore them almost every day for exercise/walking on pavement, probably for over a year before I noticed. I’ve now got a couple of pairs so i can rotate and extend the life.I’ve worn many expensive running shoes from New Balance, Adidas, Hoka, Saucony, etc. These Brooks are the most comfortable shoes I’ve worn. At first they felt like they wouldn’t be cushy or padded enough but within 15 minutes these were the shoes for me. I have many issues (arthritis in my ankles and hips). Zero pain in my hips or ankles when I wear these shoes and they feel very stable. They have a fairly wide toe box which is also nice. I like them well enough that I bought a second pair in black. I’d consider getting a third pair but I’m not fond of some of the other colors.

My sports physician told me I WILL get new shoes
I have suffered from foot pain since I was a kid, and no podiatrist or orthotics ever gave me any relief. I even purchased a walker (at age 48) so I would have an automatic seat whenever I go anywhere that requires a great deal of walking. I have a big trip planned, so I consulted a sports physician, who told me to go to specialty store and have my feet evaluated. These were the shoes I was “prescribed.” Gotta say, they are AMAZING. My feet don’t hurt like they used to. I have been able to walk much more without pain then I ever have before. Love these shoes! Will be buying more in the future.
