Great shoes but they run small!
I tried several different models from Brooks before finally settling on Glycerin 19 for my daily trainer. I wanted the same kind of firm and sturdy sole that I love in the Hyperion Tempo. I was hesitant to try a highly cushioned show after running in Hoka Clifton 7 and finding them too squishy, but the Glycerin 19s are a dream. Super comfy and cushiony but with a nice firm sole that still gives plenty of energy return. I also typically have a hard time getting my heel locked in adequately but have no problems with that in these. I love how the uppers hug my foot and make me feel nice and locked in—i don’t even need to use a runners loop!My one gripe is that these run really small. The Amazon page says “true to size, order your usual size” which is what I did. I wear a 7.5 in regular shoes and an 8 in every other pair of running shoes so I ordered an 8. I should have read the q&a and reviews first! My toes were crammed in there all the way up to the edge of the shoe, blisters etc. I had to return that pair and go up one full size to a 9 in order to have adequate room. An 8.5 wide would probably have worked too.

Physical Therapist-Approved!
These shoes are amazingly comfortable and they look sharp! I am a physical therapist and I’m on my feet all day, doing a very active job. I love how supportive and comfortable these shoes are. They also have good traction and do not slip easily. I’ve been wearing this pair 5 days per week since February and they are still going strong. I admit, the first week I wore them they rubbed a little bit on the back of my ankle/Achilles, but I pulled up my sock as a barrier and did not get any skin breakdown. And after that first week, they fit like a dream. For reference, I got a size 10.5 in Black and Metallic Pink. Not sure if the manufacturer would recommend, but fyi once per month I also wash my shoes in the washing machine on cold w/ towels, then air dry and they still hold up great!

Just Bought My Third Pair of Brooks!
These shoes are so comfy! I purchase the Neutral and not the GTS. It’s like walking on pillows! Great for working out, running, walking, and general everyday chores. The comfort level is the best I have ever found. My first pair of Brooks was the Glycerin 15. Surprisingly, I still have them and wear them. I did go up a half of a size on the 2 pairs of Glycerin 19 that I purchased this week. After reading other reviews I wondered if I should go up the half size. I realized after these arrived (1/2 size larger) I probably should have gone up a half size on my original pair. All my other regular shoe purchases are a half size smaller than my Brooks. I’ve also heard that a shoe worn for working out should allow extra space in the toe area for movement. This was valuable information I wish I had learned earlier in life. These Brooks are better than any other athletic shoe I have EVER worn. I cannot imagine going back to some of the other name brands I’ve worn in the past. As long as Brooks continue to feel this good, I will never change again!!!Also, I was afraid to order since they weren’t shipped by prime. But I wanted this color. I would like to say that Playmakers did a spectacular job of shipping me these shoes in a timely manner without any disappointment! There were awesome as well!!!

Remarkably comfortable footbed!
Really like this shoe. It came as a used product…which surprised me, because I didn’t recall seeing that in the descriptive info. However, it was virtually like new. VERY comfortable footbed. I had heard so much about the ON running shoes, ordered those and was a bit disappointed that the footbed was not very plush and forgiving. These Brooks are remarkably cushy but very structurally sound. The color was great. The price was good (relative to new…but again, they had been worn/tried on). The sole is GREAT. Laces have enough texture to them that they stay tied!!! Identified the Brooks Glycerin as a good option for my plantar bursitis…and these are fabulous. Did get a blister early on, but breaking them in well. Overall great purchase.

Feels like I’m cheating
I’m 5’10 and weigh around 245-250. I gave up on running years ago in favor or weightlifting. I’ve basically been on a dirty bulk for years and figured it’s time to get back into running for my health. I’ve never been a good runner but I understand the need for good running shoes and I see them as an investment. I keep most of my gym shoes (usually ASICS brand) for about a year so I’m hoping these last that long. Being as heavy as I am, I wanted shoes that would allow me to run without feeling like I was ruining my knees/shins. I ordered a 10.5 wide and I don’t necessarily have wide feet but I don’t like my toes being squished together. These felt a little tight at first but they just needed to be broken in a little and then I didn’t give the fit a second thought. I could tell that these shoes felt better than any I’ve ever had just from walking into the gym. I figured I should ease into my treadmill runs, so I started at 5.5mph. At that speed, I didn’t feel anything special and started to think that the shoes weren’t all that great. I started to get that dreadful feeling of being bored as hell, so I cranked up the speed to 6.5mph and I started to feel the shoes come into their element. Suddenly, I felt like they were propelling me forward and I kept bumping into the front of the treadmill so I went to 7mph. This still wasn’t fast enough so I went to 7.5mph and now my big ass was coasting on the treadmill with a small grin on my face. It felt like I was cheating in some way. Like I should not able to be running that fast for the 1.5miles I did. I wasn’t hating my life either. I actually enjoyed it so much that I decided to write this review. These shoes were so good to me right out of the box that I want to invest in other more advanced running shoes to feel how far shoe designs have come in the years since I gave up running. After the run, I went to hit the weights and almost went for another run afterwards. Maybe I didn’t give myself enough credit and my ability wasn’t as bad as I thought, but I honestly think these shoes did all the work. It was such a satisfying feeling. Anyway, these shoes are worth the money and will probably be great for you unless you’re a pro or you run everyday because then I’m sure you already have your preferred running shoes.
