I bought a pair of ghost 6 shoes a few years ago at full retail price and they were the best shoes I had ever bought. When they finally started to break down and got too grungy (I wore them 5-7 days and weeks for and the least 12 hours a day for over 2 years) I was in a mild state of panic. Luckily I turned to my trusty amazon app and lo and behold! The new version was right there! It was even about 30 bucks less than the retail price so I have my pretty new shoes and they appreciate just apples great as the first ones. They are a comfortable goldilocks fit….not too tight, not too loose, but juuuuuuust right! They have plenty of support without going overboard in the arch and are breathable and airy. The construction in first class and they are durable and very lightweight. I will definitely be purchasing the 9 or 10 when these wear out! I might even just get another pair of these just in case!

These shoes are great! I was told I was a supinator when I walk and did some research and these were listed as among the best for the condition and have so far been amazing on my feet. I can wear all day and my feet do not hurt and they feel great. They are light weight and extremely comfortable! Would highly recommend.

Brooks shoes are simply the best shoes I have ever had
Brooks shoes are simply the best shoes I have ever had. Because of plantar faceitous, I asked my foot doctor what shoes he recommended in 2009, he said Brooks makes a great fitting, supportive shoe I might try. I ordered my first pair & would not use anything else.It’s excellent that it comes in a wide size as well.I put 4 miles a day on these shoes & they last a good long time–sometimes as much as a year, but I normally replace around 8 month mark, to be sure to keep good solid support.Fit is spot on, every time.

Pretty colors and a nice lightweight shoe for sring and summer wear
After finding these at such a great price on Amazon, I decided to order a pair and try them. After all, I could return them free if I didn’t like them. I wasn’t so sure I’d like this color combo but I was pleasantly surprised when they arrived. I love the colors on them. Very pretty for spring and summer seasons. The online photos don’t show the true colors of this shoe.They fit me a bit snug width wise mid shoe but I expect them to loosen up a bit the same as the that I’ve had for about a year did. Ariel’s did. I wear the Ariel’s whenever I know I’ll be walking on hard surfaces like you find in most retail stores and the big box warehouses. They’re about a year old and fitting a little looser than when I got them. I have to wear thicker socks than I’ll wear during the summer. Some of the reviews on these Ghost 8’s indicated they run a bit narrow so I order them in wide and I’m glad I did as the medium width would have been too narrow for me especially in the toe box. These are just right in that area but a little snug mid shoe. There’s a little more arch support than the Ariel’s but they are comfortable and lighter weight.I gave them four stars because the width feels narrow for a wide shoe.

My favorite running shoe
LOVE this shoe. I’ve been using this version to run in for the past couple years and it’s definitely still my favorite even now. I have picky feet and this shoe meets all the aspects I need. The toe box is wide enough to have some wiggle room and won’t feel bunched. The cushion in the shoes when running are just enough to keep you going for all the miles you need without hurting your feet. Great shoes! Definitely my favorite. Now that it’s so hard to find this shoe, I really wish I had stocked up while I could of. Have yet to meet something that can replace this shoe.

Awesome …. BROOKS WINNS FOR ME HANDS DOWN!!This is my second pair and I can’t complain one bit . Great fit , light , durable, very comfortable and love the styles and various colors to choose from…. My first pair is the Addiction…. And they are as comfortable as the Gohst 8 …… I chose the Gohst this time because they are a little lighter and a bit different style …. Not much difference at all ….. But I like them ….. I will purchase Brooks from now on….. I have support issues and at times I wear prosthetics along with them for that reason. But there is ample support even without the inserts….and at the end of the day , your feet are not tired at all …. When your very active that speaks volumes for this shoe … To me… And I’m 53 , maybe not as active as I would like but still active !!!😎

Flawed but functionals shoes.
I wish I could give this shoe 3.5 stars. It has good arch support. I can run in them, and stay in them all day. They have good traction as well. My major complaint is that within only a couple uses it started to tear on the lip where it meets the side of my ankle. The hole has been growing with continued use. This has never happened to me with a pair of running shoes before. It’s really sad that within a few days, these shoes look like I’ve owned them for a year or more. This is my first pair of Brooks. I’ve heard such wonderful things about the company, and I’m surprised they clearly skimped on materials.

Great arch support and comfortable
They have great arch support. I have custom Orthodics made for my workout shoes because I have such a high arch but in these shoes I don’t have to put them in and I still feel plenty of support. They seem wider than my last pair of ghost 6 which I think makes them even more comfortable for me. They are fairly light. I usually wear a size 8 but any shoe I plan on using my Orthodics in I buy a 1/2 size up. The 8 1/2 fit great with and without the Orthodics. This is my third pair of ghost and I think it’s the best pair.

Ich habe diesen Schuh vor ein paar Jahren von einem USA-Urlaub mitgebracht, seither habe ich den Schuh bereits 1x nachgekauft – Passform. Dämpfung, Traktion im Wald/Schnee und Langlebigkeit sind aus meiner Sicht optimal. Ich benütze diese Schuhe meist bei Schlechtwetter bzw. im Winter und im Gelände.

Amo le scarpe da running perché sono comodissime e bellissime. Le uso per andare al lavoro, non per correre, quindi da un punto di vista sportivo posso solo immaginare che siano fantastiche.Posso comunque dire che le Brooks sono ottime per il piede, comodissime da mattina a sera e anche dopo aver camminato in città per alcuni chilometri. Ho ancora un paio di Vapor 2, con cui ho camminato 100km in 5 giorni a Londra, e ho acquistato le Ghost 8 GTX per l’inverno, dato che sono impermeabili con la loro membrana in GoreTex.Sono molto soddisfatto, mi piacerebbe solo che Brooks desse qualche scelta in più sui colori. Mi piacevano moltissimo le Ghost 9 GTX, ma il colore (nero e giallo fluorescente) mi ha fatto optare per la versione precedente, un po’ più “urbana” in grigio e rosso.Comunque Brooks ha scalzato New Balance dal numero uno nella mia classifica delle sneakers. Oltretutto sono completamente vegane, un valore aggiunto per un animalista come me.Come tutte le scarpe sportive va acquistata una taglia in più, io normalmente porto il 43 (italiano) e ho comprato un 10.5. Ma anche le altre marche sono così, basta saperlo.
