Great shoe for walking and hiking
I bought these shoes for some hiking at Devils Lake in Wisconsin. We love the bluff trails, and I needed something that could handle all the rock steps. These shoes performed perfectly!Very comfortable for walking and hiking! Fit to size. Good cushion and stable heel. Great shoe all around!

Good quality, sturdy, true to size, supportive, good traction, color is as described. Keep in mind they are sturdier with the gortex so it has a different feel.

Great comfort & fit
Love these, they are very comfortable. I do not need my separate arch supports with these and I have very high arches. The only down-side is that I hike almost daily and these only last about 4 months for me. But, because the fit & comfort are so great for low profile hiking, they are my go-to hikers. I wear 9.5 medium & hike 3-4 miles daily, sometimes a big hike on a weekend day.

Runs small!
First the important part: this runs small. Like, very small. I’m squarely a size 9.5 and I ordered a 10 and barely got my foot in. I had to loosen all of the laces, wedge my toe in and then stomp to get my foot in. The lacing up, I was thinking how I would possibly walk around my house for 5 minutes comfortably, much less hit the forest trails. After a few minutes of gasping for breath 😀 my husband felt for my big toe the same way you would with a toddler and he was like, absolute not, you’re literally pushing against the toe cap. Sigh. Will be returning these.On the plus side, had they fit: the tread is wonderful and WHY I ordered this shoe. It would have been great on slippery mud trails that we get in spring as the snow and ice thaws and refreezes.It is lightweight and made sturdy, nothing cheap about this shoe.I’m returning these, and on the fence if I will reorder in a larger size.

Hallo,seit Jahren kaufe ich den Cascadia (Nr. 1 war der 14er) den ich ausschließlich zum Wandern nutze.Wurde immer wieder etwas verändert, ich bin mit jedem Modell super zufrieden.+ saubequem, passen perfekt für breitere Füße und sind zudem robust.+ nicht so weich wie typische Laufschuhe und nicht so fest wie übliche Wanderschuhe+ läuft sich super auf weichen Waldwegen, und auf Feldwegen+ sogar auf Asphalt ist der Schuh durchaus gut geeignet- vermutlich in den Bergen nicht geeignet, ist mir persönlich aber egal

Non ancora provata nel bagnato, pianta del piede per me perfetta essendo ampia per l’appoggio delle dita ma anche ben salda sul cavallo del piede assicurando maggiore stabilità rispetto ad altre Marche tipo Salomon. Per me sempre una delle Marche migliori.Alterno a questa scarponcini Lowa per uscite tipo a funghi. Dove non corro ma cammino, e per condizioni più invernali.
