Great waterproof shoes
Why, why did I wait so long to buy waterproof athletic shoes for the winter? These are great shoes. I used my own inserts that I use with every shoe, so can’t comment on the insert they come with. Wider toe box than my regular tennis shoe, not as bouncy as my regular tennis shoe. However, bottoms have more ridges and far more grip than my tennis shoes, and these have a wider toe box. I rarely find shoes that fit and are comfortable enough for a long walk, these fit the bill. The fact that they are waterproof is a huge bonus, no more wet toes.

Great hiking shoes!
Wore these without breaking them in much on a week long hiking trip in Pacific Northwest. Never had one issue with them. Lightweight, comfortable, great support and waterproof! I inadvertently slipped off a mossy rock into a shallow steam and my foot remained dry!

Versatile hiking shoe with comfort in mind
Can always count on Brooks for great plantar fasciitis support and comfort, while walking long distances. Took a chance with these as I had a lot of hiking planned this fall, and was not disappointed. Had a very short break in window, and have had countless issues with all other hiking shoes and boots in the past. These shoes DELIVERED with absolute comfort, cushion, support, versatility in temperatures and terrain, and look fantastic. If you are on the fence and love Brooks, don’t hesitate!

Shoes ok, price of Brooks shoes not
These shoes r good for working outside, but less comfortable than Ghost. However, they r reasonably water proof and have held up ok so far. The price of Brooks shoes is ridiculous.

The BEST Hiking Shoes I Have Ever Worn!
I give 10 stars! I’m a Brooks girl. I tried several of the high dollar big name hiking sneakers. They weren’t great. Since I’m a Brooks tennis shoe girl I researched these. Boy! Am I glad I did. I have been hiking for over 30 years. I just returned from Guatemala volcanoes during the rainy season. The most treacherous hiking of my life. I hiked through rivers, mud slides, loose rocks, wet sand, and wet lava rocks (like glass). These shoes supported my feet like clouds. The traction was 10+++. My feet stayed dry the entire time. I just can not say enough about these shoes. I by far will only wear Brooks! The cost compared to other high end hiking sneakers is minimal. The style is great. The color is great. They look like girl shoes. So often hiking shoes don’t look feminine. These do.

Love them
I am a Brooks girl, and they tend to last me about a year with me wearing them daily. That being said it was time for a new pair. I like the color, and I need a wide front. I also need and arch support. This shoe does it all. The arch isn’t 100% perfect, but it is better than other brands out there. I have worn these all day for a few days now and there is no discomfort in the honeymoon phase you sometimes get either. I also like the fact this shoe is waterproof, considering I am a walker, and I do get caught in the rain at times.

This Brooks Cascadia 16 GTX Waterproof shoe is a great find. Purchased my usual 1/2 size large and the fit is perfect. The support in the arch is evident; a much stiffer outer sole is helpful for rough terrain. The Goretex material insures a waterproof shoe. Very pleased with the shoe and at a great price!

I really like these shoes—they have a nice design and are waterproof, which is perfect for everyday use like walking or running errands. While I didn’t find them very comfortable for running, they work well as daily wear shoes, and I’ve been using them regularly for that purpose. Comfortable, and and practical stylish for everyday needs.

Mein Mann hat einen sehr schmalen Fuß. Er hatte dieses Model bereits in einem Sportgeschäft gekauft, der war jedoch leider irgendwann “abgelaufen”. Leider hat er den Schuh nirgends mehr zum nachkaufen gefunden. Daher musste Amazon Abhilfe schaffen.Er läuft hauptsächlich Wald und Trail. Sehr zufrieden.Dass das jetzt ein Frauenmodel sein soll stört nicht, solange der Schuh gut sitzt.

I wanted the perfect shoe to take me through a summer of camping, walking and festivals. I’m on my 4th camping/festival trip and these have been amazing. They’ve kept my feet bone dry through wet camping fields and a whole day’s wet and windy walking on the Cornish coast. I overpronate so swapped out the insoles for orthotic ones and have had no foot or ankle pain even after a night’s dancing.Plus: light, look and feel like a trainer, waterproof, very comfortable, lots of toe room. Size the same as Brooks Adrenaline.Minus: tight over the instep to start off with – but if you find this, don’t be put off. They loosen up after about a week. I’m soooooo glad I didn’t send them back because of this.
