If you’ve never ordered shoes online, start with this pair. They’re great!
The first time I’m writing a review for a shoe, and the first shoe I’ve ordered online: what a great pair of shoes! They look great, feel great, a light weight, and months later still look like new. The tread looks high quality, and I’ve worn these with jeans and brown dockers and they go well casually and semi-business. I’ve been wearing these casually since buying them, and just recently tried jogging, and they are great. I’m up to a half-hour of jogging and have felt no pain and a lot of support around the ankle and heel. I’ve had foot pain after a day of being on my feet, and that hasn’t happened. While I can’t say for sure this is causation, it certainly seems like it since I haven’t changed anything else recently. They look great and feel great. I bought a pair for my son and he seems to like his as well (different colors of course.)

Best running shoes I have owned yet!
Best Running shoes I have owned yet. I average about 11 miles per week running and these shoes have worked out well for me. They are very comfortable and fit well. I have wide feet and got the X-Wide version and they fit perfect and true to size. I definitely would recommend these shoes for a runner.

Best Walking shoes ive ever owned!
I wear these just to wear them! the cushion is very thick, and firm so i almost float when i walk. the lip at the back curves outwards so perfect to slip on, and more impotantly not irritate my achilles. Best show ive ever worn for my tendonitis, and has a good gradient as well, and supports my feet so i have no cramps or pain after long walks or standing. Finally it has very good toe space, so my toes dont rub on the top of the shoe, want dont get cramped. I am super happy with these shoes!

I’ve been wearing Brooks shoes since 1986, and they’ve never let me down. Whether I’m running or just using them as everyday shoes, they’ve consistently delivered comfort, durability, and support. After nearly four decades, I can honestly say Brooks has earned my trust as the most reliable footwear brand I’ve ever owned. Pretty sure I purchased Ghost 17 not Glycerin 22 (odd that this review comes up as Glycerin), in any case these are still a very good shoe. I no longer run and my only complaint is that these newer stacked style shoes make it feel like my foot is not all the way seated in the shoe. Almost feels like my foot is about ready to come out of the shoe with every step.

Compared the 16 and 17..
So I recently compared the ghost 16 and the ghost 17. Both are great sneakers for everyday wear. The 17 have a lot more bounce and a better fit. The tread is also improved on the 17. The 16s are a great shoe dont get me wrong and for 50 bucks less the 16s get the edge. They have a good amount of cushion but not a ton. I am not a runner but I walk between 5 and 10 miles a day. So on the longer walks the 17s get the edge. But for the gym and the shorter walks 16s are good. I am not a seasoned runner by any means but I can only give you my humble opinion and tell you what I find most comfortable
