Great for aftermarket.
I was really leary after reading the reviews but bowflex didn’t have any available so options were limited. I read it smelled funny. It smells different but isn’t terrible. I read it doesn’t glide as smooth. It doesn’t, but it glides fine. I read it doesn’t weigh the same. It might not, but it wasn’t noticeable to me. I read that it didn’t fit and had to be filed down. It didn’t for me. It was 40 dollars cheaper than the bowflex that wasn’t available. I’m completely satisfied.

Good use; Good quality
Finally found the handle. Two months ago, the gear plate inside my handle broke. I only bought gear pieces to save money，I took a lot of time to replace them. Unfortunately, less than 2 weeks later, the gear plate failed again. So I replaced the whole handle. At present it works perfectly and the quality is very good. It is brand new with safe packing box. matches the BF 52.5 perfectly. I recommend it.

Broke after a few months
Always felt a bit janky but it did work for the first few months. Also smells bad but it goes away for the most part. The biggest issue is that, as of a couple of weeks ago, the dials don’t turn anymore. Too expensive to only work a few months.

Fits and functions well
Fast and secure delivery. It fits and functions well. I dropped mine and two of the discs were broken. I looked online to see if I could buy replacement discs, and they would have both cost me about $35. And i would have to take it apart and fix it. So when I saw that this would cost me $75, it was no-brainer. I could replace the entire handle and I could still cannibalize the broken one for parts if I needed another replacement in the future.For those other reviewers crying about how this is not made by Bowflex and it’s a “cheap chinese knock off,” well, the advertisement didn’t say it was from Bowflex, and clearly it didn’t have the Bowflex logo on it. If you couldn’t figure out this was a knock-off, well it’s on you IMHO. This is NOT from Bowflex. But it functions just like the Bowflex handle. I don’t need to impress anyone with the brand of the barbells I use. This works and that’s what matters. I am not even sure if you can actually buy a replacement handle from Bowflex, and certainly its website does not show this as a purchasable item. I looked. So I am glad I found this, and I now have a working set of adjustable barbells once again. Regardless of brand name, 35lbs is still 35lbs whether it comes from China or Vancouver, WA.

Great replacement but…
After using for a few weeks I can tell that the weigh from the original handle is a lot more. When this after market handle and original handle are in use at the same time, the aftermarket one is slightly lighter then the original. Lastly when you first receive it will have a heavy oil/gas smell, thankfully that has faded away a bit. Overall if there are no original pieces for sale, this is the next best thing. Maybe you can purchase two just to have the exact same weight in each arm.
