Leg Length Seems Short
I’m very surprised at the fit of these. The compression isn’t an issue; as stated, it’s stronger around the ankles and provides even compression up the leg. There is a band of slightly stronger compression in the thighs, much like many women’s pantyhose have. I had to make sure to bring that extra compression band all the way up my thigh, otherwise it gave me a weird dip in my thighs.The tights are pretty short, though. I’m 5’4 and I couldn’t get these tights to fit all the way up like they should. I can walk in them, but the fit just feels weird – again, not from the compression, but from the length of the legs of the tights.The waistband sits high. I ordered a medium size and I usually wear a US size 4 or small in other bottoms. I don’t like how it gives me a little bit of spillover on the sides, so I definitely wouldn’t wear these under anything fitted where that lumpiness that’s created would be visible.These are not opaque tights, but a sort of semi-sheer instead, even though the fabric does provide adequate compression. I don’t know why I thought they’d be opaque, but I’m actually glad that they’re not!Perhaps with wear I’ll be able to wrangle the legs into fitting better. Because the compression itself is comfortable, I know I’ll be wearing these often, even if the leg length is uncomfortable.
