Great summer hiking socks!
Love these for the summer to keep feet cool. Thin, comfortable, true to size, color as pictured. As always, good quality! I like these for wearing with boots in the winter too so your feet don’t get too hot and they don’t slide down.

Can’t go wrong with these. Thinner than thinnest bomba offering. No squeezy arch support if you have sensitive feet. Last about 10 years in rotation. I lost some on a trip and have been replacing the shorties (decided I didn’t like them).

My Favorite Hiking Sock
Smart Wool is the best! I love the thickness (or lack thereof) in these socks because I do not like the feeling of padding when hiking. They last forever; I recently bought additional pairs because I went on a multi day trip and didn’t want to worry about washing them. My feet were comfortable and blister free hiking around all day and they kept my feet warm in the tent at night. I like the color and fit. Overall great buy! If they ever wear out, I will definitely replace with the exact same sock!

They move around a lot because the fabric is so thin. I’m a smartwool lover and only wear their socks, but not loving these.

You get what you pay for and these are worth it!!
I love these wool socks and wear them Spring, Summer and Fall. The feel snug putting them on do off you’re a 9 to 9½ I would suggest buying the large size so the fit is comfortable after washing. Speaking of washing, I wash them on delicate with cold water no softener andline dry. Fabric softener will not allow the fabric to absorb the sweat from your feet and in the looking run gunks up your washing machine and breaks down fabric. Cold water is a must because wool shrinks in hot water. I love the smoothness of the wool and the fact that they don’t itch, which I have a problem with due to sensitivities. They are on the pricy side but mine have lasted a long time. I love the color purple but have seen them in a couple other colors but they have always been sold out in my size. There isn’t any cushioning to these socks which it’s fine with me. It’s one of the reasons I bought them in the first place. My feet almost never feel sweaty wearing these, maybe a bit in between my toes here and there. It does seem like the better made will sox all go for $20 and up. I am not the slightest bit disappointed paying what I did for these. I’ve never gotten a hole in one. If you watch now and then I’ve seen them marked down by $7 dollars. Now THAT’S a bargain I don’t pass up on! A+

I have severeal pairs of smartwool socks and I love them. These don’t disappoint. Sizing is correct and they fit nicely around the foot and particularly the heel. The elastication is good and gives a cosy fit. Height of the sock is just above my trainiers. They wash well and keep their shape. Overall, I’m pleased with my purchase and would definitely purchase again.

Love them. Great everyday socks to wear to work with jeans and casual pants. No cushioning; they are ideal for wearing with fitted shoes. Socks wash well in the machine and dry quickly. I don’t put them through the dryer; it helps them last longer. Well worth the money, in my opinion.
